I met Susie during our Boswell Junior High days when her father, a career Air Force officer and pilot, moved the family to Topeka. If I recall correctly they moved from Newfoundland. Susie joined the Girl Scout troop I was in. Following high school the family moved to Missouri and she attended college there. I lost touch with her for many years but she, I, and several others got together around the time of our 40th anniversary from Topeka High School and a group of us continued to meet several times a year since then. Once we can start socializing again there will be a definite void in the group. She was very giving and shared her craft skills with many people as well as her love of music, being a longtime piano teacher. We all miss her very much!
Susie was a great friend at THS, full of energy and bubblely personality. My sincere sympathy to her family. Our class numbers on earth are dwindling a our numbers increase in heaven. God bless us all.
