Obituary

Sheri E Clyburn, 76 of Dutch Mills, Arkansas, left this world early Sunday morning on May 9, 2021. She was born on December 11, 1944 in Topeka Kansas to Dr Loy C and Carol Neff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Loy C Neff and her infant daughter, Shandy.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Clark Clyburn of the home whom she married July 3, 1992, her daughter and best friend, Shara (Richardson) Stacks, son in law Curtis Stacks and grandson Christopher all of Farmington, Arkansas, brother Brad Neff of Topeka, Kansas, his wife Tina and brother Bob Neff all of Topeka, Kansas.  She is also survived by Raymond’s daughters Rachel, Xandria and Becky and grandson Gavin plus a host of extended family and friends.

She was the best Mumsie that her daughter, Shara could have ever wanted. She was a friend to all her friends too. She was known for being an unresponsible adult and having fun at the skating rink.

She loved all animals and supported many animal charities. She had a variety of pets throughout her life from her three current dogs to cats, a pet monkey, a opossum and a dove.

She and her husband were adopted members of the White River Band of the Cherokee Nation. It was during this time she taught herself to make exquisite beadwork that she gifted to family and friends. She also earned her name Geè-Geè and wore it proudly.

She enjoyed long conversations with her husband from a variety of topics including the latest books they’d read, politics, movies they’d watched and even 90 Day Fiancé. Her interests varied and were quite interesting.

A celebration of her life will be held this later this Fall where we will share photos, stories, fun memories and probably tears because she was loved SO MUCH and will be missed forever.  And there will be cake. Lots of cake.

In lieu of flowers, please do an act of kindness by feeding a stray dog or cat, filling a Little Pantry or helping another person. She’d really love that most
