Sorry to hear of Darlene's passing.  Remember her from our days in the halls of Troy.  Such a sweet person.  She still has (had) that sweet smile.  Rest in peace, Darlene.

I am always deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a classmate.  Darlene's death hits home more directly as I saw her so recently at our 60th reunion.  Yet, I am grateful that we were to be together for the last, brief, time.  As Tom Gorrell has said well, keeping up makes our companionships so much closer, and, even with the pain associated with each passing, it is wonderful to share the goodness of the class as it continues along.  My most sincere condololences to Darlene's family. She, as all, will be cherished in our memories.
