IRMO, SC - Frank W. Griggs lll, 64, passed away on July 4, 2009. He was born in Topeka, KS the son of Frank and Sallie Griggs. He retired as a corrections officer from the S.C. Dept. of Corrections in 1991. He is survived by his wife Samia Griggs of Irmo; daughters, Cindy Brown (Jason), of West Columbia, Kimberly Griggs, Charlotte, NC, grandchildren, Lucas and Jackson Brown; a brother, Arthur Griggs (Dusty), and his sister, Sarah Griggs, all of Topeka. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Dunbar Funeral Home in Irmo. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to the charity of your choice.
