Goble Family, our friendship began in early 1950’s on Atwood Ave. just north of 21st street when we attended Randolph Grade School Susan. Our mothers Jane and Vi continued their friendship for the rest of their lives, Jane made the trip to Bella Vista for Vi’s 80th birthday in 1997. They played bridge often either at Thornton Place or Aldersgate Village. Susan and Jane have enjoyed a very good life. My prayers are with the Goble family. Roger Alexander

Very sorry to hear of Susan Goble’s death. It completes a kind of circle for me. She and I were both accepted into the Peace Corps after college, and coincidentally we were both assigned to the same group of volunteers going to Ghana. We arrived at the training site in Boston, and were delighted to find familiar faces and high school classmates.
After some contemplation, Susan decided she could not commit to a two-year stint overseas, so she returned to Topeka. However, she asked me to keep her informed about my Peace Corps experience, and we exchanged several letters to and from my post in Ghana. She was a lovely person who served others over the rest of her life.
I posted this for Stan. I felt this was the correct place. David

So sorry to hear of Susan's passing. So sad to see former classmates leaving this earth but I did have the pleasure of knowing her my high school years. Rest in peace Susan and may your afterlife be as gracious as your time here on earth.
