Barbara L. Rice, 62, departed this life on Wednesday, June 20, 2007. Barbara was born June 22, 1944, in Phoenix, AZ., The daughter of the late William Bill Dicken and Susie Odessa Moore. She was a faithful member of the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on various committees. Barbara was married to John Walter Rice, he preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughters, Theressa Rice, L.A., Cal., Marsha Casanova (Kevin) Clovis, CA. and Patricia Green (Kenneth), Topeka, son, John (Barry) Rice, Aurora, CO.; sister, Carmen Moore, Topeka and a host of other relatives and friends. Services: Monday, June 25, 10:00 am, True Vine Missionary Baptist Church. Instate: Sunday, June 24, 4-8 pm with family receiving friends from 6-8 pm at Bowser Johnson Funeral Chapel.
