       Fraser, Colo. - Memorial services were here Sunday for Robert Lee "Bob "Swatzell, 51, Frazier, formerly of Topeka, who died April 26, 1995, at his home. He had a brain tumor and had undergone surgery July 27, 1994, in Denver.

       He was born March 6, 1944, in Topeka, where he spent his early life. He attended Clay Elementary School, Roosevelt Junior High and was graduated from Topeka High School in 1962. He served in the Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967. He lived in Ordway, Colorado, before he moved to Fraser in 1976. He was an electrical contractor and owned and operated Fraser Valley Electrical Service.  Mr. Swatzell was a trustee on the Fraser Town Board and served on the Fraser Planning and Zoning Commission.

       He was married to Rebecca Jane Glennon of Lawton, Oklahoma, 17 years ago. She survives.

       Other survivors include a son, Robert Paul Swatzell, Fraser, Colorado; three daughters, Christi Leigh Brand, Fairbanks, Alaska, Shellie Renae Stahl, Garnett, and Shalisa Frolick, Sparks, Nevada; his father and stepmother, Cecil J. and Dorothy Swatzell, St. George; his stepfather and mother, Edward and Bethuelle “Beth” Snook; Topeka; a half-brother, William "Bill "Swatzell, St. George; to half-sisters, Lynda Phillips, Manhattan, and Debra Spears, Houston; three grandsons and a granddaughter.

       Mr. Swatzell was cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Division, American Cancer Society, 1315 Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, 66604. Schoenfeld Mortuary in Hot Sulfur Springs, Colorado, was in charge of arrangements.
