Sylvia Kathleen Kathy Boaz, 71, of Troy, Kansas passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at her home. She was born on July 13, 1944 in Topeka, Ks. to Glenn and Grace (Howland) Sullivan. Kathy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy, Ks. She was a housewife, who was very active with her church and community. She married Jerry Boaz on April 27, 1968 in Topeka, Ks. Jerry survives of the home. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; aunt and uncle, Vivian and Leon Howland, who raised her; sister, Vivian Branscom; and brothers Mervin Sullivan and Ray Sullivan. Additional survivors include two daughters, Tammy Walker and Rebecca Boaz, both of Bonner Springs, KS; son, Chris Boaz (Felieta) of St. Peters, Mo.; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one on the way; sisters, Jeannine Bechtold, Glenda Butner, Judy Hetz, and Nellie Brockhoff; brothers, Donald, Reuben, Walter, Gary and Mike Sullivan; numerous nieces and nephews Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M.
