Brenda Olivia Lewis-McClelland was born on March 19, 1944 in Topeka, Kansas to Barney M. Lewis and Forestine Smith Lewis. Brenda attended and graduated from Topeka Public Schools and later attended Washburn University. She retired from Topeka State Hospital and The Menninger Foundation. Brenda loved her family and loved to bake. She was famous for her meatloaves and coconut cream pies. Brenda married Ronald McClelland, they later divorced. She had one daughter, Cynthia whom she loved very much. Cynthia preceded her in death. Brenda was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church where she served in various organizations. Brenda departed this life on Sunday, June 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney M. and Forestine Lewis, daughter, Cynthia Nance, brother, Michael Lewis and sister, Marilyn Lewis. Brenda leaves to cherish her memory, her granddaughter, Tranice Nance; great-granddaughter, Cynashia Nance; sister, Jacqueline Lewis; maternal aunt, Caralee Peters and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Visitation - Friday, June 19, 2015 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Family will receive guest from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Bowser-Johnson Funeral Chapel.  Services -  Saturday, June 20, 2015 10:00 a.m. Second Baptist Church 424 NW Laurent Topeka, Kansas.  Interment - Mt.
