Samuel Eugene Kibble.

 

         Samuel Eugene Kibble, 65, died March 19, at a Topeka Hospice Facility. He was born September 30, 1944 in Salina, KS to the parentage of Chester and Anna Robinson Kibble. Both parents preceded him in death also his step-mother Irene Kibble and a sister Doris Jean Kibble.

         He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a carman and volunteered his services at the Great Overland Station Railroad Museum and was a member of the National Railway Historical Society. He attended St. Mark AME Church.

         Samuel was married to Justine Haggerty in Las Vegas, Nevada October 3, 1998 she survives. Other survivors include step-daughters; Shawn Thomas and Tanya Webb, both of Lawrence, KS; step-sister, Donna Dillard, Topeka; step-brother, Enis Cooper, Houston, TX; five grandchildren. Other survivors include Annette Stamps and Richard Holford, Damon and Kimberly Holford, Danny and Denise Holford all of Topeka, Donna Holford, Florence, S. Carolina.

         Mr. Kibble will lie in state from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, March 25 at Bowser Johnson Funeral Chapel; family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM.  Services will be March 26, Friday 10:00 AM at St. Mark AME Church with burial at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
