Larry Frost

Larry James Frost was born in California on November 19th, 1943. He moved to Topeka Kansas with his mother Jane Frost and Father Thomas B. Frost. He attended Whitson Elementary School, Capper Jr. High, and Topeka High School and graduated in the First Graduating class of Topeka West High School in 1962. He graduated from Washburn University with a Bachelors in Sociology and Criminal Justice in 1968, and a Masters in Criminal Justice from the University of Wyoming 1971 and an MBA from Washburn University in 1974. Throughout his professional life he was a guard at Lansing State Prison, Director of the Topeka Halfway Houses for Men and Women from 1976 to 1985. In 1985, he began a different career in California overseeing the removal of hazardous materials from homes and businesses. He ended is professional life by teaching classes for Design for Health across the country and in Japan. Larry was married to Sharon Zimmer in 1969-1978 and had a son Christopher James in 1974 and a daughter Erin Elizabeth in 1975. He married Vicki Senne in 1987 and moved to California. Larry is survived by his two children: Christopher James Frost and Erin Elizabeth Forstein (Micah), his three grandchildren, Dylan Oliver Cook, Kaila Rose Forstein and Estella Marie Forstein, his two brothers: Thomas Bancroft Frost and John Frost, and his two sisters: Susan Hall and Amy Frost.
