So sorry to read of Sandy's passing in June 2018 just 4 days shy of her 75th birthday.  You were a wonderful friend in

our years at Topeka High School and did so enjoy having you in my classes and a friend away from school.  Seems like yesterday we were running around together.  Hope your life was a good one dear friend and I will think of you every day.  Rest in peace sweet Sandy.

I will miss Sandy greatly.  For the past several years I have been trying to locate her.  I knew she was somewhere around Denver but that was my last contact.  We had great times growing up together.

Sandy was a neat lady, I ran into several times when she was flying for Continental, when I was traveling for the AF.  It was fun to reminisce about Topeka and our high school days.   Many may not know she was a pretty good softball player as a youngster, playing for the Dickinson Texaco team that Joleen’s dad coached and sponsored.  RIP Sandy.

So sad to hear the news of Sandy's passing. It was my honor, privilege, and blessing to have known "The Crawford Family". I knew Mrs Crawford when she would buy flowers at Stanley's Flowers and after high school I rented a room from Harvey Crawford after Mrs Crawford had passed. He was a wonderful man who loved collecting paper weights, art glass, lalique crystal, coins and gumball charms. Then after raising Sandy, his wife passing, and his retirement at age 65 he started oil painting (a love and talent he had in his child hood). He loved Sandy and Mrs Crawford so much. Harvey passed after I had moved to Hawaii. Sandy and Harvey were both bright shining lights with lots of energy, passion, love of life and people. When I lived in Kansas, after high school and Sandy was a flight attendant with Continental Airlines, I have many memories of Sandy as I frequently flu from Topeka to Denver. She loved her job as a flight attendant. Many memories of Sandy at T.H.S. and in 1984 was able to reconnect with her in Honolulu (when Continental was still flying there) She remained the same beautiful spirit with a welcoming smile and copious energy. She will be missed by many. It is comforting to know that "The Crawford Family" are together again and may they all rest in peace. All three adopted me as family. In my old age I had lost touch with Sandy. I wish to thank Linda (Pape) Sanders and Susie (Mau) and Gary Carlson) for their acknowledgement of Sandy passing. I pray she passed with grace, surrounded by loving friends.

Aloha nui loa Aloha 'oe A hui hou kakou , Glenda
